2. What this site stores
Storage we set ourselves
Our games save your progress in your browser’s local storage. Each game uses its own key, holding only gameplay values:
| Type | Example contents | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Game save data | Best score, unlocked levels, total coins, sound on/off, chosen nickname | Lets a game continue where you left off and remember your settings | Until you clear site data |
| Display preferences | Layout and view options you have chosen while browsing | Keeps the site looking the way you set it | Until you clear site data |
This never reaches our servers
Game saves are written and read entirely by code running in your browser. They are not transmitted to us, are not readable by other websites, and are not linked to any identifier we hold. It is also why your scores do not carry across to another device.
Strictly necessary
A small number of cookies may be set by our hosting and security infrastructure to keep the site available — for example, to balance traffic across servers or to identify automated abuse. These do not track you across sites and cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
4. Consent
Where the law requires it — including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — you will be asked for consent before any non-essential cookie is set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.
If you decline, you can still use the site and every game on it. Advertising continues, but becomes non-personalised: it is chosen from general context such as the page you are on rather than from a profile, and uses only the limited data needed for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.
5. How to control or delete them
Turn off personalised advertising
- Google Ads Settings — switch off ad personalisation across Google’s services.
- aboutads.info/choices — opt out across participating vendors (United States).
- youronlinechoices.eu — the equivalent tool for Europe.
Manage cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, either for all sites or for one site in particular:
Clear your game saves
Clearing site data for pokkygame.com in your browser settings removes local storage as well as cookies. That will reset your high scores and unlocked levels, and we cannot restore them.
Blocking everything has a cost
Blocking all cookies and storage is your right, but it also means games will forget your progress every time you leave the page. If you want to keep your saves while limiting tracking, opt out of personalised advertising rather than clearing site data.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is still no agreed industry standard for how sites should respond to it, so we do not currently alter our behaviour based on that signal. We do honour recognised opt-out mechanisms such as those listed in section 5, and Global Privacy Control signals where applicable law requires us to treat them as an opt-out request.
7. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when the cookies used on the site change, and revise the “Last updated” date above. Questions about anything here can go to privacy@pokkygame.com.
This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy, which explains the wider picture of what we collect and the rights you have over it.
Effective 3 August 2026. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
