How to Play Color Cascade Sort Online
The tubes start mixed. Each one holds a stack of colored liquid, and two of them are empty. A pour goes from the tube you tap first into the tube you tap second, and it lands only on the same color or in an empty tube. When every tube holds a single color, the puzzle is done.
Color Cascade Sort is free on Pokky Game. It runs in the browser, asks for no account, and starts when you press Start Game. There are 120 puzzles, split into Easy, Medium, and Hard. Each level was built by playing legal pours backwards from the sorted tubes, so every one can be solved.
What a pour moves
A tube holds four units. A pour takes the whole run of matching color sitting on top, or as much of that run as the other tube can still hold. Two reds stacked on blue will both move if the destination has two free spaces. If it has one space, only the top red moves and the second red stays where it was.
You cannot pour red onto blue. You cannot pour into a full tube. Tap the same tube again to cancel the selection before the pour. Z steps the last pour back, and there is no limit on how far undo will go. R, or the restart button, puts the level back to the start.
How the 120 levels change
Each mode has 40 levels, and every level begins with exactly two empty tubes.
Easy starts with three colors and rises to six. Medium starts with five and rises to nine. Hard starts with seven and rises to eleven. More colors means the two empty tubes have to serve more piles, so a pour that fills the wrong tube leaves a color with nowhere to go.
Playing a level
Open the game and press Start Game.
1. Look at the top color of every tube, and notice which colors are buried under something else.
2. Tap the tube you want to pour from, then tap the tube that should receive it. The receiver must be empty, or already showing that same color on top, and it must have room.
3. If the pour would fill an empty tube you still need, tap the selected tube again and pick a different one.
4. Keep going until every tube holds four units of one color.
5. If a chain of pours boxes a color in, press Z and step back. You can undo as far as the start of the level.
Where to put the next color
Leave one tube empty. You begin with two. One can become a stack of a color you are ready to finish. The other is the only place a color can go when it is not already on top somewhere. Fill both and the next buried color has nowhere legal to land.
Stack onto a matching top before you open a new tube. If red is already showing, pour red there. An empty tube should be saved for a color whose other units you can reach soon. Once you start filling an empty tube, it accepts only that color on top.
Pour the run, not just the top unit. The game moves every matching unit on top, up to the space available. Count the free spaces in the destination before you tap it. A tube with one space will split a stack of three and leave the rest behind.
Use undo as part of the solve. Z costs nothing. Try the pour that frees a buried color, and step back if it fills the spare tube too early. Restart is there when the board is too far from the picture you wanted.
On a phone
Tap a tube, then the one that should receive the pour. On a computer you can do the same with the mouse, and Z undoes. The page works in the browser, with nothing to install and no sign-in. Most games on Pokky Game keep your place in this browser, so a later level is still there when you come back on the same device.
A look at the tubes
Who it suits
It fits a quiet puzzle where the rule is small and the order of moves is the whole game. Easy boards, with three colors and two empty tubes, show the idea in a minute. Hard boards, climbing toward eleven colors, punish a poured-too-soon empty tube. If you would rather sort color with screws and trays than with liquid, Screw It! is the other sorting puzzle on the same site: 100 levels, and each screw has to go to a matching tray or wait in a spare hole.
Sort the first tube
Open Color Cascade Sort, find a color that is already on top in more than one tube, and pour those together. Leave one tube empty until a buried color actually needs it. The level ends when every tube is one color from top to bottom.
